About Me

I came across your site while reseaching my family tree. Hadji Elarbi Guesus (born 1838 in Fes, Morocco) who was the husband of my great grand aunt. He was a silk merchant and a Naturalised British Subject. His residence was 7 Arlam Road, Sale, Cheshire and had one child (Lulu born 1887 Blackpool, Lancashire). Hadji (Shipping Agent) trading address in 1891 was 96, Bloom Street, Manchester.  His father's name was Absalom Guesus and he booked passage 1st class on the SS City of Oxford from Liverpool to Tangier on the 28th July 1912.

Can anyone help?
